Robert Bowling confirmed on Twitter there will be no zombie mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

“No zombies in MW3.” Bowling said in a tweet.

“Although we do have a very different style of co-op in our new infinite wave based Spec Ops Survival mode,” he added.

Treyarch has been known to implement zombie mode into their titles, starting with 2008′s Call of Duty: World at War and Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in November.

Co-Founder of Sledgehammer Games, Glen Schofield, said in a recent interview that Juggernauts will make a return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and that gamers might get to play as one.

“Oh you bet  they are, yeah, you might even get to play as one.” Schofield said in response to Juggernauts appearing in Modern Warfare 3.

Gamers are allowed to put on the juggernaut armon in Spec Ops mode, but it is unknown if it can be used in the campaign mode.

Modern Warfare 3 is scheduled to release on November 8 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Wii and DS.

While speaking with Don Oliveira of PSU, General Manager and Co-Founder of Sledgehammer Games, Glen Schofield, said that they plan on starting a new story following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and characters such as Soap, Prince, and Makarov could be finished.

“There’s a story that’s been told over the last two games, and we wanted to make sure that a big part of that story didn’t continue to linger, like here’s another cliff hanger, and another one, and another one,” said Schofield.

“We’re not ending the franchise, but we’re putting a nice conclusion on wrapping….we’re wrapping up the story.”

“But you know, we’re also introducing some new characters,” continued Schofield. “There’s Sandman, Frost, and Truck, who are members of an Elite Delta Force Team.”

Activision has released a second multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 8.
